One of the four largest international waterfalls in the world, and certainly one of the most well-known in Vietnam, is the Ban Gioc Waterfall. Ban Gioc Waterfall is located in Dam Thuy Commune (Cao Bang City), which is 335 kilometers from Hanoi. The western side of the waterfall is owned by Vietnam, while the eastern side is claimed by China.
